Backs health care reform

America is a unique place. In health care, we lead the industrialized world in costs (by 1.5 to 2 times that of other industrialized countries); in the number and proportion of citizens without health care coverage; and in the number of bankruptcies resulting from health care costs. We are No. 1! Yea.

It's therefore counterproductive and horrifying that one political party should oppose doing something about these dubious honors. I believe that party has literally developed a form of dementia and can't find a reasonable way to assure care for our population.

It's clear that we need health care reform -- Obamacare, a form of which was implemented by Mitt Romney in Massachusetts, is a reasonable start.
