Bells hang on for victory

The Bellingham Bells had to hold on, allowing two runs in the ninth inning to the San Francisco Seals, but won 4-2 on Wednesday, Aug. 7, at Joe Martin Field.

Alex Calbick had an RBI single in the first inning for Bellingham, Walker Olis doubled in a run in the sixth and Eric Angerer had a bases loaded, two RBI double in the seventh.

Bellingham starter Luke Morrill gave up three hits and no runs and struck out five in four innings.

Lynden High School graduate Tanner Olson pitched two innings of scoreless ball with two strikeouts for the Bells.
