Amber Alert issued for California girl, 16, and boy, 8, believed to be headed to Canada

A statewide Amber Alert has been issued for a teen girl and 8-year-old boy who were abducted in Boulevard, Calif. after the remains of their mother and another child were found in a burned-out house.

Authorities said the suspect may be traveling to Canada, and the teen and boy are believed to be in danger.

The Washington State Patrol is looking for Hannah Anderson, 16, who is described as white, with blonde hair and blue eyes and 5 feet, 7 inches. Troopers are also looking for Ethan Anderson, 8, who is described as white, with sandy hair and believed to be 4-feet-11 and about 65 lbs.

Authorities said that the teen and boy may be in the company of James DiMaggio, 40. He is described as a white man, with brown hair, brown eyes, 5-feet-9 inches and 150 lbs.

The two victims were discovered Sunday night in the rubble of DiMaggio's burning Boulevard home, according to authorities. DiMaggio is now wanted for murder and arson.

The three may be traveling in a blue Nissan Versa with California license plate 6WCU986.
