Bells pitchers shut down San Francisco


Bellingham Bells pitchers John Albert, Chase Radan, Will Dennis and Mark Huberman combined for a four-hit shutout, as the Bells beat San Francisco 3-0 during a game Tuesday, Aug. 6, at Joe Martin Field.

Albert earned the win, giving up three hits through four innings, and Huberman threw in the eighth and ninth inning to earn the save.

Ryan Kirby scored Ryan Yamane in the first inning with an RBI single, and Johnny Farrington added an RBI double in the eighth. Trent Chatterton recorded two of Bellingham's six hits and scored once.

Bellingham plays San Francisco next at 7:05 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 7, at Joe Martin Field.
