Subdued Stringband Jamboree opens Thursday in Deming

The 13th annual Subdued Stringband Jamboree runs Thursday through Saturday, Aug. 8-11, at the Deming Logging Show Grounds near Nugents Corner.

The 13th annual Subdued Stringband Jamboree runs Thursday through Saturday, Aug. 8-11, at the Deming Logging Show Grounds, 3295 Cedarville Road, near Nugents Corner.

Thursday's lineup includes Lucky Brown and The Bucks, The Ames, Busted Jug, David's Drinking Band and The Sweet Lowdown Duo.

Friday's lineup includes Hot Damn Scandal, Chivalry Timbers, The Reverie Machine, Rattletrap Ruckus, The Happy Valley Sluggers, The Heligoats, Misty Flowers, Korby Lenker, Br'er Rabbit, The Shadies, Majnun Memorial Concert, Laurel Bliss and John Clark, Pete Farmer and Elliot Pierce.

Saturday's lineup includes Crow Quill Night Owls, McDougall, Robert Sarazin Blake & The put-it-all-down-in-a Letters, Porterbelly Stringband, Mudflat Walkers, Jack Dwyer & Tim Connell, Jim Page, Tango Heart, The Sweet Lowdown Duo, The Bellingham Circus Guild and Peter Blake.

There's a square dance each day with callers Lucas Hicks, Lisa McAvoy, and Paul Silveria.
