Northwest Washington Fair open Aug. 12

The Northwest Washington Fair runs Monday, Aug. 12, through Aug. 17, at the Northwest Washington Fair and Events Center, 1775 Front St., in Lynden, with demonstrations, displays, carnival rides, food booths and entertainment.

Grandstand entertainment schedule (prices include required gate admission):

Monday, Aug. 12: Demolition Derby, 1 p.m.; $20, and 7 p.m., $25.

Tuesday, Aug. 13: Dwight Yoakam, 7:30 p.m., $40.

Wednesday, Aug. 14: The Guess Who, 7:30 p.m., $25 and $35.

Thursday, Aug. 15: Hunter Hayes, 7:30 p.m., $38 (SOLD OUT).

Friday, Aug. 16: Steven Curtis Chapman, 7:30 p.m., $33 and $43.

Saturday, Aug. 17: Roar and Rumble motorsports show, 7:30 p.m., adults $23, ages 4-12 $12

Gate admission: $12 age 13 and up; $5 age 6-12; $10 seniors 62 and up; children 5 and under free. Discount daily tickets are available at Haggen stores until Aug. 11.
