Hawaiian music concert comes to Lincoln Theatre

The Northwest Hawai'i Ohana presents HAPA, a concert of music from Hawaii, at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 3, at Lincoln Theatre, 712 S. First St., in Mount Vernon.

HAPA's Pan-Polynesian music is an amalgam of influences ranging from ancient chants to the songs of Portuguese fisherman and Spanish cowboys and the melodies and harmonies of the traditional church choirs of the early missionaries, with a dose of American acoustic folk rock.

Tickets are $35 premium (front sections, festival seating); $30 general (back sections, festival); $40 at the door (all sections, festival).
