Kelwona beats Bells in WCL action


The Bellingham Bells were edged 6-5 on Monday, July 29, at Kelowna in West Coast League action.

Ryan Yamane had two runs and an two RBI for the Bells.

Bells starting pitcher Andrew Freter gave up four runs - three earned - on nine hits in six innings. Will Dennis took the loss in relief.

On Sunday, the Bells had 14 hits en route to an 11-4 victory at Kelowna.

Bellingham starter Nate Cole gave up three runs on six hits and struck out six in six innings of work.
