OLYMPIA: Get tips on fishing for Puget Sound salmon

July 28, 2013

John Abbott will share tips garnered from his years fishing on Puget Sound at Thursday’s meeting of the Olympia chapter of Puget Sound Anglers.

Abbott, who runs the Captain Downriggin’s website, has spent much of his life around Puget Sound. “He has a wealth of knowledge and will share some of his angling expertise,” said chapter spokeswoman Julie Rzadzki.

The meeting is free and open to the public.

The meeting will be held at 6729 Pacific Ave. SE, Lacey. The general meeting starts at 7 p.m., and the program begins at 8 p.m.
