WTA: Meet with fellow hikers to nosh, talk trails

July 28, 2013

The Washington Trails Association will host one of its Trails and Ales events in Tacoma on Aug. 6 at Engine House 9.

This is a chance to meet association staffers, other local hikers and volunteers for an evening of trail talk and learning how to help protect trails in the state.

The association will provide light hors d’oeuvres, but participants must purchase their own drinks.

Engine House 9 is at 611 N. Pine St., Tacoma.

The free event, from 6-8 p.m., is open to all WTA members and non-members. If you plan to attend, you must register at wta.org.
