Bells lose late to Sweets

The Bellingham Bells gave up two runs in the bottom of the eighth to lose 4-3 on Friday, July 19, at Walla Walla.

Bellingham's Jack Meggs came around to score after Ryan Yamane put the ball in play in the third inning, Johnny Farrington singled in a run in the seventh inning and Alex Calbick scored on a passed ball in the eighth inning.

Bells starter Andrew Olson gave up five hits and two runs while striking out five in five innings. Reliever Aaron Sandefur gave up the two runs in the eighth to take the loss.
