FISHING: Captain shares Sound, canal fishing advice

Clint Muns will give a presentation on salmon fishing in South Puget Sound and Hood Canal at the July 24 meeting of the Olympia chapter Of Trout Unlimited.

Muns will share his ideas for the best places to fish for salmon at specific times during the year. He also will talk about the proper fishing equipment to use and the best fishing techniques.

A veteran of more than 30 years of fishing local waters, Muns is a licensed skipper and owner of Puget Charters. He also has been a member of the Charter Boat Association of Puget Sound. Since 2005, he has been the director of resource management for Puget Sound Anglers.
