Rave: Had a great time at Bellingham Bells baseball game

COURTESY TO THE BELLINGHAM HERALDJuly 14, 2013

If you are an American baseball fan you could not have had a better night than my wife and I had last Friday night at the Bellingham Bells baseball game. If you like baseball, hot dogs and apple pie then you have to take yourself "out to the ball game" one of these beautiful summer evenings. We try to make one game each homestand. We always have an incredible experience each time we go. The owners make it a fun experience the whole night long, with goofy games for the kids and fun giveaways. And the baseball is fantastic. We are watching young college players play big time baseball, using wooden bats, and making great plays, and the occasional error, while giving the fans a big league experience with a small town feel. It's 10 minutes from home and you don't have to spend your life savings to enjoy a dog and a beer (or Pepsi). Every seat in the house is a great one. I believe the owners have accomplished exactly what they set out to create, a "top shelf product" made up of great family entertainment and competitive baseball. Most games, the owner is out there after the game thanking the fans for coming. I think it is Bellingham who should be thanking him and his sponsors for putting out such a great product. So, thank you Bellingham Bells for putting on a great show, from the singing of the national anthem to the after-game fireworks show.
