Rave: Thanks for donations to assist dog program

COURTESY TO THE BELLINGHAM HERALDJuly 14, 2013

I am writing on behalf of Laurel Raposa, about whom there was a recent article in The Bellingham Herald. Thanks to that article, we've been given a very generous donation of $1,000 towards getting a multiply trained assist dog. However, we still need a great deal more. In the article, the trainer of the dog, canineanglesservicedogs.org was indicated, but it was not indicated that any donation needs to mention Laurel or the dog Holly. I've also set up a youcaring.com account "Laurel Needs Your Help" and donations can be made via PayPal through it. We're seriously short of the nearly $10,000 needed for this dog. We still need a lot of help. Ideas for fund raising as well as donations are needed.

We also want to publicly thank the individual who gave so generously last week.
