Bells fall short against Black Bears

The Bellingham Bells only managed five hits in a 5-3 loss Friday, July 12, at Cowlitz in West Coast League action.

Derek Atkinson singled in Ryan Yamana in the top of the sixth, and RJ Ybarra had a two RBI single in the top of the eighth.

Bells starting pitcher Nate Cole gave up two runs on seven hits in six innings to take the loss.
