Concerned about power for future

COURTESY TO THE BELLINGHAM HERALDJuly 13, 2013

A letter posted on June 25 was from a writer who was lamenting the use of coal for a portion of our energy needs. I would submit that the advances in coal-powered power plants have no bearing on the plants of our ancestors. I believe the experiments of solar powered at the cost to the taxpayer at the tune of $500 million was a terrible failure. We can't use hydro because it might harm the fishies and great Earth mother protect us from nuclear power. I guess that the only solution is wind power. But if only generated by butterfly wings.. Wake up, Alice; escape from Wonderland. Grow up.
