Some downtown Bellingham streets to be closed Friday, Saturday

BELLINGHAM - Several blocks of downtown Bellingham near City Hall and the library will be closed to vehicles parts of Friday and Saturday, July 12-13, for the annual Relay for Life.

No parking will be allowed on Lottie Street between Grand Avenue and North Commercial Street from Friday morning to 4 p.m. Saturday.

From 2:30 p.m. Friday to 4 p.m. Saturday the following road sections will be closed to traffic: Grand Avenue and North Commercial between Girard and Flora streets; Lottie Street and Central Avenue west of Dupont/Prospect Street; and Unity Street north of Flora.

Disabled parking will be available in a lot across from the library on Central Avenue.
