Sunnyland Stomp fills neighborhood with art, music, food

The fifth annual free and self-guided Sunnyland Stomp takes place Saturday, July 13, when Bellingham's Sunnyland neighborhood transforms into a summer art walk full of backyard galleries displaying a wide range of art, music and food.

Twenty galleries will participate, showcasing artisan food, raku pottery and much more. Participants include Randy Clark (ask Fishboy), Jane Burn, Shirley Erickson and Lonnie Schang.

New this year is a chicken race from 2 to 4 p.m. at Sunnyland Park. Galleries will be open 4 to 9 p.m.

Sunnyland Stomp maps will be available at each gallery the day of the event, at Garden Spot Nursery and online at Bike travel is encouraged.
