Birchwood Neighborhood hosts free drive-in movies on inflatable screen

THE BELLINGHAM HERALDJuly 9, 2013

BELLINGHAM - You may have heard about pop-up restaurants, but how about a pop-up drive-in?

For two consecutive Fridays, July 12 and 19, the Park Manor shopping center parking lot at Birchwood and Northwest avenues will host free drive-in movies projected onto a 40-foot inflatable screen.

Audio will be transmitted by FM radio to listen in your car; outdoors speakers will play the audio for those who walk or bike to the event.

"Grease" will show the first week and "Wreck It Ralph" the second one. The movies start at dusk.

Park Manor and the Birchwood Neighborhood are sponsoring the movies; Epic Events is providing the equipment.
