Free talk in Bellingham focuses on needs of caregivers

BELLINGHAM - A free presentation titled "Rekindling the Caregiver's Spirit" is 3:30 to 5 p.m. Thursday, July 18, at Adult Day Health Center, 809 E. Chestnut St.

It is open to the public.

Nanette Davis, a Bellingham-based caregiver coach and educator, will give the talk.

She has taught at Western Washington University and is the author of "The ABC's of Caregiving: Words to Inspire You" and "Caregiving Our Loved Ones: Stories and Strategies that will Change Your Life."

The Bellingham event is the next installment in the lecture series "Facing the Challenges of Aging," offered by the Adult Day Health Center at PeaceHealth St. Joseph Medical Center.

Because of space limitations, people must register for the talk by Friday, July 12.
