Lynden Cal Ripken team advances out of pool play


The Lynden Storm Cap Ripken 10U baseball team lost 6-1 to Port Angeles during the final game of pool play at the Cal Ripken State Tournament Friday, July 5, in Moses Lake.

Despite the loss, Lynden finished 2-1 in its pool and will advance to the elimination portion of the tournament.

The Storm were led by Aaron Blakeway, Connor White, Adam Klausman and Cole Moorlag, who made a fine defensive play.
