Volunteers still wanted for Project Homeless Connect on July 26

BELLINGHAM - Volunteers are still needed for the fifth annual Project Homeless Connect, which will be 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday, July 26, at Bellingham High School, 2020 Cornwall Ave.

The effort provides free, confidential services to homeless people, including dental care, medical exams, vision and hearing screening, women's health care, information on veteran benefits, housing assistance and legal aid, among others.

Volunteers are needed to help with each of those stations and to help as guest guides, guest intake, set up and tear down.

To help, contact Abby Lund at abbyl@whatcomvolunteer.org or 360-734-3055, or go to whatcomvolunteer.org.
