Bells pitching holds lead for 3-2 win

The Bellingham Bells defeated the Corvallis Knights 3-2 on Thursday, July 4, in Corvallis, Ore.

The Bells wasted no time taking a lead, scoring two runs in the top half of the first inning off back-to-back doubles by Eric Angerer and Michael Annunziata.

Andrew Olson handled his business on the mound, going 6 2/3 innings while allowing just the two runs and striking out five. Chase Radan and Marc Huberman came in and closed the game out over the final 2 1/3 innings.

The Bells host Cowlitz on Friday, July 5, at Joe Martin Field.
