Bells fall in extras to Corvallis, 5-4

The Bellingham Bells fell 5-4 in 10 innings Tuesday, July 2, to the Corvallis Knights in Corvallis, Ore.

Despite rallying to score the tying run in the top of the ninth inning, Marc Huberman failed to hold the tie in the bottom of the 10th after giving up an all-too-crucial leadoff walk that ended up winning the game for the Knights.

Alex Calbick had a strong day at the plate, going 3 for 5 with an RBI.

The Bells did a majority of their damage late, scoring two in the fifth and then runs in the eighth and ninth.
