Whatcom County marriage licenses can be filled out online

Couples can apply for marriage licenses online, Whatcom County Auditor Debbie Adelstein announced. The service was available beginning Monday, July 1.

People can find the application at whatcomcounty.us/getmarried. After completing their applications, couples still must go to the Auditor's Office to pay the $58 fee and pick up the license.

The office is in Suite 103 of Whatcom County Courthouse, 311 Grand Ave., Bellingham. Hours are 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. weekdays, except for holidays.
