Traffic must follow pilot cars during highway construction north of Lynden

LYNDEN - Traffic will be restricted to one lane next week on Badger Road north of Lynden for one mile during construction of roundabouts at Bender and Depot roads.

Traffic will be led through the lane restriction by a pilot car 24 hours a day starting Monday morning, July 1, and continuing all weekdays, including over the July 4 holiday, the state Department of Transportation said.

Depot Road south of Badger and Bender Road north of Badger will be closed starting Monday to accommodate roundabout construction. Signs will indicate detours. The closures are scheduled to end on or near July 22.
