Army band, Full Metal Racket, to play at WWU and in Blaine

The 133rd Army Band, the Army National Guard band out of Camp Murray near Tacoma, presents its rock-inspired band Full Metal Racket from noon to 1 p.m. Wednesday, July 3, 2013 at Western Washington University's Performing Arts Center Plaza. The band also plays at 7 that evening at Blaine's G Street Plaza, at Peace Portal Drive, as the first event in Blaine's July 4th celebration.

The 133rd Army Band, the Army National Guard band out of Camp Murray near Tacoma, presents its rock-inspired band Full Metal Racket from noon to 1 p.m. Wednesday, July 3, at Western Washington University's Performing Arts Center Plaza, in the kickoff to the free Summer Noon Concert Series at Western. Rain location is WWU's Underground Coffee House.

The band also plays at 7 that evening at Blaine's G Street Plaza, at Peace Portal Drive, as the first event in Blaine's July 4th celebration.

The band plays vocal and instrumental rock, pop and country, as well as patriotic music.
