The Dance Studio, under the direction of Brittany Setter, presents "Where Memories Begin," an energetic dance production that celebrates the life of a dancer growing up at The Dance Studio, from the first day of class with tiny, sparkly tutus, to the epic day when a dancer finally earns her satin-laced pointe shoes.

Performances are 7:30 p.m. Saturday, June 29, and 2 p.m. Sunday, June 30, at Mount Baker Theatre, 104 N. Commercial St.

Dancers who have traveled around the world with The Dance Studio, including baby ballerinas and two-steppin' adult tappers, perform dances inspired from multiple countries and decades past.

The adagio troupe, featuring The Dance Studio's dedicated dads, transform the stage into a high-flying acrobatic spectacle inspired by Bob Fosse.

Tickets, $14, can be reserved at 360-734-6080 or mountbakertheatre.com.
