THE BELLINGHAM HERALDJune 14, 2013

Drivers are advised to take alternate routes Monday, June 17, through Friday, June 21, when crews will lay asphalt on two Whatcom County roads in preparation for chip sealing.

Crews will work from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. those days on Noon Road and Everson Goshen Road, south of East Hemmi Road. Long delays are expected around work areas.

The schedule may change due to weather. For more information call 360-676-6759 or 360-380-8111.

The 974 miles of county roads are chip sealed on a seven-year cycle as part of regular maintenance.
