United earns win at home


The Bellingham United soccer team earned a 2-1 win over Coquitlam Metro-Ford on Sunday, June 9, at Civic Stadium.

The teams were tied 1-1 when Brendan Quilici headed the ball into the back of the net just before the end of the game and the United improved to 6-2-1 on the season.

Kellan Brown scored just before halftime for his 10th goal of the season as Bellingham took the lead.

Coquitlam tied the game in the 50th minute.
