Pioneers fall 7-6 to Hoquiam, knocked out of state

The Nooksack Valley softball team was knocked out of the Class 1A State Softball tournament with a 7-6 loss to Hoquiam on Friday, May 24, in Richland.

The Pioneers won their first game 2-1 over Elma but lost in the quarterfinals to Lakeside 3-1.

No other information was available about these games.

With the loss the Pioneers' season is over.
