WWU exhibit 'Launchpad' showcases work by studio art students

Western Washington University's art department presents "Launchpad," an exhibition that highlights culminating work by graduating undergraduate studio art students, showing Tuesday, May 28, to June 8 at Western Gallery in the Fine Arts Building.

An opening reception honoring graduating studio art majors will run 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, May 29, in the gallery. Prizes for special merit will be juried by faculty and awarded to selected students during the reception.

Western Gallery is open 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Friday, except Wednesdays when the gallery is open until 8 p.m., and noon to 4 p.m. Saturdays.
