Bellingham United FC falls to Kitsap Pumas

Bellingham United FC lost to the Kitsap Pumas during a friendly Charity Shield match Sunday, May 20, at Civic Stadium.

The match benefitted Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Northwest Washington.

"Today's match against Ktisap was good in a lot of ways and quite frustrating at the same time," BUFC coach Lance Calloway said in press release. "It was great we were able to create so many scoring opportunites throughout the match, but the frustration came when we were not focused on the final touch to put the ball in the back of the net."

The loss left Bellingham United still searching for its first home win this season.

The Hammers play Vancouver Thunderbirds next at 3 p.m. Sunday, May 26, at Civic Stadium.
