Tour of Lummi Island artist studios runs May 25-26

Ingrid McGarry is part of this year's Lummi Island Artists' Studio Tour, which takes place 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, May 25-26.

People can view the artwork of 22 artists during this year's Lummi Island Artists' Studio Tour, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, May 25-26.

During the free tour, visitors can drive or bike around the island to open studios, where they can see paintings, drawings, sculpture, pottery, photography, woodwork, jewelry, fiber arts and more.

To reach the island, take exit 260 off Interstate 5 north of Bellingham, travel west on Slater Road, then turn south at Haxton Way to reach Gooseberry Point. The Whatcom Chief ferry departs at 10 minutes past the hour.
