The City of Gig Harbor will host a public open house Wednesday to discuss the future of the Ancich property. The meeting will be from 4-6:30 p.m. at the Gig Harbor Civic Center, 3510 Grandview St.

The open house will share the findings of two recent stakeholder workshops hosted by the Gig Harbor Parks Commission.

In April, stakeholders worked to create common goals for the site as well as schematic space planning outlines. The open house will provide an opportunity to review findings, learn next steps and provide input into the process.

The city purchased the Ancich waterfront property at 3518 Harborview Drive in August 2012 to add to the waterfront park system.
