Lynden craftsman wins TV praise from Martha Stewart

LYNDEN - Whatcom County furniture maker Greg Klassen recently returned from showing his work at the Smithsonian Craft Show in Washington, D.C., held in late April.

Along with his memories and sales contacts, he came back with a 5-minute video of a local Fox News TV segment about the show in which Klassen is interviewed and Martha Stewart praises a handcrafted table he made.

Klassen was one of seven furniture makers chosen to display their work at the annual juried show. A total of 120 people were selected to show their wares, ranging from jewelry and furniture to ceramics and fiber pieces.
