All six from Bellingham and Lynden move on to second day action

THE BELLINGHAM HERALDMay 14, 2013

All six players from Bellingham and Lynden made the cut in the Class 2A Northwest District Championship at Snohomish Golf Course on Monday, May 13.

The top 34 golfers from the first day moved on to participate in the second day action on May 14, where only 17 move on to the state tournament.

"All of the guys are in good position to make it, and hopefully they can," Bellingham coach David Bobillot said in a phone interview. "We have a few guys right on the bubble, but if they can play well they should move on."

Cody Roth shot a team low 73 for the Red Raiders, and EJ Troutman shot a 77.

"Cody missed some putts but is 1-over, and he had a good round," Bobillot said. "EJ shot a 37 on the back nine and had a great round."
