Alzheimer Society holds May 23 open house in Bellingham

BELLINGHAM - Alzheimer Society of Washington is celebrating its 30th year in Whatcom County with an open house Thursday, May 23.

The event is 3:30 to 6:30 p.m. at its office, 1308 Meador Ave., Suite C-1.

The public is invited to see the office, visit with the organization's board members, staff and volunteers, and learn about its programs.

The organization has served Whatcom County since 1983. It is made up of volunteers, family and friends of people affected by Alzheimer's disease and other dementia-related illnesses, with the goal of educating people.
