Bellingham Slam beats Portland 112-103


Jacob Stevenson scored a team-high 24 points to help lead the Bellingham Slam to a 112-103 over the Portland Chinooks during an International Basketball League game Friday, May 3, in Portland, Ore.

The Slam trailed 85-82 heading into the fourth quarter but used a 9-2 run in the final minutes to capture the win.

Portland was led by Jason Hartford, Germain Jordan and Jared Cunningham, who each scored 20 points.

Bellingham (3-1) faces the Salem Sabres next on Saturday, May 4, in Salem.
