Jones guides Ferndale track to strong showing

Daniel Jones picked up three wins for the Ferndale boys' track team en route to 10 wins in 17 events on Thursday, May 2, at Blaine High School.

Jones took home wins in the 200, 400 and 4x400. His teammate, Shane Stockton, helped the Golden Eagles' cause with wins in the shot put and discus.

As for Lynden, the Lions took home wins in four events, including three wins by Elijah Varner. Varner won the 110 hurdles, 300 hurdles and the 4x100 relay.

Tom Bradley was the lone runner for Blaine to win multiple events after coming in first in the 800 and 3,200.
