Dyrland, Porter and Roberts each win an event for Bellingham


Mary Dyrland, Alyssa Porter and Izzi Roberts each won an event for the Bellingham girls' track and field team in a Northwest Conference dual meet at Burlington-Edison on Thursday, May 2.

Burlington-Edison won 13 events and the Red Raiders won five.

Dyrland won the 100 with a time of 13.85 seconds and Porter won the 200 in 26.99.

Izzi Roberts won the only field event for Bellingham and had the best mark in the long jump at 15 feet, 9 inches.

Bellingham's 4x100 and 4x400 relay teams also won with times of 51 seconds and 5:21.7 respectively.

Bellingham will begin the postseason Wednesday, May 8.
