Roth, Bellingham win at Sudden Valley


Cody Roth and the Bellingham boys' golf team won a Northwest Conference Tournament at Sudden Valley Golf & Country Club on Wednesday, May 1.

Bellingham had a team score of 381 and Lynden had a team score of 393.

Roth shot a 72 and Peter Kolodychuk shot a 74 to lead the Red Raiders.

"It was really interesting because Bellingham started off with probably the worst start I have ever seen and came back," Bellingham coach David Bobillot said in a phone interview. "We had four career lows for Cody, Peter, Rees (Kruhlak) and Daniel (Kim)."

Squalicum shot a 413, Mount Baker a 429 and Nooksack Valley a 626.
