The 10th annual Procession of the Species in Bellingham begins at 3:30 p.m. Saturday, May 4, 2013, at Bellingham Public Library.

The 10th annual Procession of the Species in Bellingham begins with lineup behind Bellingham Public Library, 210 Central Ave., at 3:30 p.m. Saturday, May 4. The parade begins 4 p.m. and proceeds to Maritime Heritage Park.

This year's theme is the sound of nature, so bring on choruses of frogs, trumpets of elephants and more; either instrumental or vocal.

The only rules: no motorized vehicles, no live animals and no written words. Details: Procession of the Species Bellingham on Facebook.
