According to a report on Cougfan.com, former Meridian High School and Washington Unviersity tightend Andrei Lintz has been invited to a workout for the NFL's New Orleans Saints. The Saints will then decide if they want to offer Lintz a rookie free agent contract to join the team in training camp.
Big things were expected out of Lintz last fall during his senior season, but a knee injury limited him to two receptions for 14 yards.
Lintz appeared in 43 games for the Cougars and made 10 starts during his career. He finished with 10 catches for 114 yards and two touchdowns and was a three-time All-Academic selection.
