THE BELLINGHAM HERALDApril 30, 2013

The Squalicum baseball team fell 11-5 at home to Anacortes in a Northwest Conference game Monday, April 29.

"We swung the bats OK, but they just got clutch hits and we didn't," Squalicum coach John Inge said in a phone interview. "We left 13 runners on base. There were a lot of hits on both sides. They were just able to come through when they had runners on and we weren't."

The Storm was led by Ben Tripp, who went 3 for 5 with a run, Staley Gilmore, who went 2 for 4 with an RBI and Brock Jorgenson, who went 2 for 3 with a run.
