Pfannenstiel has strong showing for Squalicum track


The Squalicum boys' track team won three events at the Tomahawk Classic in Marysville on Saturday, April 27.

Jason Pfannenstiel had the strongest showing of the day for the Storm, winning the 300 meter hurdles with a time of 41.01 while coming in third in the 110 hurdles.

Chris Fredlund topped the field in the 800 with a time of 1:59.41, nearly four seconds faster than the second-place finisher. Nick Gallaher came in third place behind Fredlund.

The 4x400 team of Tyler Ho, Jonah Jacobson, Cain Duronso and Neall Koetje were the final winners for Squalicum with a time of 3:34.33. They topped second-place Tahoma by just .06 seconds.
