Wynstra takes two in LC win


The Lynden Christian girls' track team topped the field of 19 on Saturday, April 27, at the BCS Invite in Bellevue.

Hannah Wynstra won top marks in the discus (101-11) and javelin (106-04).

Madison Burke was the only other Lync to win an event, winning the 100 meter hurdles with a time of 17.58. Burke also finished second in the 4x100 relay and third in the long jump.

Despite not winning a single race, Emily Sytsma had an impressive showing, finishing in second in the 400, 4x100 and the 4x200. She also finished fifth in the 200-meter race.
