Webb, Lions have strong showing at Shelton Invitational


The Lynden girls' track team finished 18th in the field of 37 at the 53rd Shelton Invitational Track and Field Meet on Saturday, April 27, in Shelton.

Kat Webb had the strongest showing of the day for the Lions, placing second in the 100 with a time of 13.62.

Shelby Jacob matched Webb's strong day with a fourth-place finish in the javelin with a toss of 114-02. Maddi Hommes finished fifth in the discus (97-10) while Cassidee Barclay also finished in fifth in the 400 (65.41).
