Rave: Thanks to Hardware Sales for helping Silver Beach school

COURTESY TO THE BELLINGHAM HERALDApril 28, 2013

I want to recognize a recent donation made by Hardware Sales to Silver Beach Elementary School. As a parent of two boys at this school I volunteered to contact all of the hardware stores in town inquiring about the possibility of donating shoe scrapers to the school. The playfield has been so muddy that the kids have been limited to playing in the concrete play area only at recess which limits their ability to run around. Hardware Sales was the only store to respond to my request, they have provided the school with three high-quality shoe scrapers for kids to use before returning to their classrooms. Please show your thanks to this longtime local business by doing your hardware shopping at Hardware Sales.
