Squalicum boys' track tops Meridian, Nooksack


The Squalicum boys' track team topped Meridian and Nooksack Valley on Thursday, April 25, winning 8 of 17 events at Nooksack Valley High School.

Jonah Jacobson, Chris Fredlund and Chais Sugden all won two events for the Storm, with Jacobson winning in the 200 and 4x100, Fredlund winning in the 400 and 4x400 and Sugden taking home wins in the 800 and 4x400.

Meridian also had two multi-event winners. Relijah McMillen took home wins in the 100 and long jump, and Kaleb Heezen grabbed top marks in the discus and javelin.

Nooksack Valley's Stephen Dietz had both of the Pioneers' wins, topping in the 300 hurdles and 3,200.
